You may notice that some hay boxes have a matte finish while others have a glossy finish. This difference is purely cosmetic and comes from two box manufacturing lines. The matte finish provides better tape adhesion, while the glossy finish will become our standard packaging finish as the remaining boxes are used.The appearance of the box is not an indication of the age or freshness of the hay inside. We pack fresh hay every day, and the packaging finish does not affect the quality or freshness of the product.All third-party orders ship directly from our warehouse. We do not store these orders at vendor warehouses, so the box finish does not mean the hay has been sitting at a vendor facility.
